The Caddell Building
The John and Joyce Caddell Building, located at the heart of Georgia Tech's Midtown Atlanta campus, is home to the School of Building Construction. This LEED Platinum-certified building, known for its stunning Midtown views, features a design that incorporates a cantilevered canopy for shade, exposed pipework, and concrete columns from its original structure, exemplifying adaptive reuse. It's equipped with eco-friendly features like photo-cells and occupancy sensors for lighting efficiency. The building encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration with flexible spaces, reconfigurable classrooms, and advanced technological facilities.
