Advisory Board Scholarship

The Georgia Tech School of Building Construction Advisory Board members are leaders in the construction industry and related fields in Atlanta and the southeast. The Board membership reflects the range of disciplines and degrees at the School including Construction Management, Program Management, Real Estate Development, Facility Management and specialty consulting firms. Thanks to the generosity of the advisory board members, we have several scholarships available (up to $5000 per year) for qualified incoming or current undergraduate students. 

John A. & Joyce K. Caddell Scholarship

The John A. & Joyce K. Caddell Scholarship was established to offer scholarships for qualified undergraduate students applying to or enrolled in the Building Construction program in the College of Design at Georgia Tech. Recipients shall be selected by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or its successor based on financial need and academic merit.

James Russell Tuten Scholarship 

The James Russell Tuten Scholarship was established by John Tuten in memory of his father, James Russell Tuten. The Tuten Scholarship shall be awarded to qualified undergraduate students majoring in Architecture or Building Construction program in the College of Design at Georgia Tech. Recipients shall be selected by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, on the recommendation of the Chairs of the School of Architecture and Building Construction. Preference will be given to applicants and current students from Southeast Georgia.

Elaine T. and Keith D. Watson Scholarship 

The Elaine T. and Keith D. Watson Scholarships was established to provide scholarships to undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need and pursuing an undergraduate degree in the School of Building Construction in the College of Design. Preference for awarding the scholarship will be given to applicants from Stephens County. Second preference will be given to applicants from Habersham, Banks, or Franklin County. If the two above preferences are not met, then the Watson Scholarship can be awarded to qualified students who are residents of any county in Georgia. Recipients shall be selected by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

Georgia Tech Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) helps students and families apply for and receive financial resources. They administer funds and programs to help students meet the educational expenses to attend Georgia Tech. They also advocate for strategic financial support for Georgia Tech students.
