Industrialization and Sustainability
(Distributed Construction)

Through industry partnerships, we have been at the forefront of experiential research in industrialized and distributed construction. We examine how decentralized, off-site production ecosystems can improve productivity, reduce waste, and strengthen local economies by leveraging regional resources. By applying BIM, life-cycle assessment, and digital analytics, we quantify the carbon emissions of distributed construction compared to traditional on-site construction and conventional modularization.

Smart Built Environment Eco-System (Smart Bees) Lab
