Manager, Health and Safety Programming – Blue Ridge Power (Nov. 2022 to Present). Directs the health and Safety programming team and oversees all aspects of Health and Safety programming, to include policies, procedures, supporting tools, implementation, and compliance. Supports and drives the continued improvement of operational safety through direct and indirect partnership with stakeholders across the enterprise from field level to executive suite.

Lecturer - Georgia Institute of Technology (Apr. 2022 to present). Facilitates and teaches the Advanced Safety Principles course for the university’s Professional Master of Occupational Health and Safety (PMOSH) program. The course covers the use of consensus standards ISO 45001 and ANSI Z10 to enhance organizational health and safety performance.

EHS Program Manager – Blue Ridge Power (Jan. 2022 to Dec. 2022). Direct the health and safety programming team and oversee all aspects of Health and Safety programming, to include policies, procedures, supporting tools, implementation, and compliance. Support and drive the continued improvement of operational safety through direct and indirect partnership with stakeholders across the enterprise from field level to executive suite.

Workplace Health and Safety Specialist – Amazon (May 2020 to Jan. 2022). Serve as site subject matter expert in all facets of safety management for assigned facility from providing first aid and managing employee care to environmental compliance and hazardous waste processing.

In-Plant Safety Manager– PSSI (Jan. 2001 to Apr. 2002). Risk Assessment and Management: Ensure PSSI operations comply with all regulatory, company, and customer requirements. Perform daily and weekly safety audits, assist operations with corrective actions, and compile and report all findings and pertinent data. Implement and maintain safety policies and procedures. Incident Investigation: Maintain all injury records and perform investigations at the plant level as needed. All root cause and other pertinent data was reported to site, area, and regional management. Training/Education: Implement and manage training for all employees on safety and regulatory topics.
