Scott W. Braley


Lecturer



Scott Braley has devoted his entire career energies to the design and construction industry – as a practicing professional, a business leader, a consultant, and a teacher. During his 30-year practice career, Braley personally led domestic and international project/program teams that completed more than $2.2 billion of in-place construction. He served as Managing Principal in an international A/E design and program management firm and was Chair of the Management Committee for the A/E business unit. As a design and construction industry consultant, he has worked with more than 325 firms throughout North America and in other countries. 

Educational Background and Recognitions

Braley earned both a professional degree (Architecture) and a Master of Business Administration degree.  In addition to numerous design/construction and A/E/C industry awards, he was awarded the Engineering News Record “Medal of Excellence” for making significant marks in the design and construction industry. He was elevated to Fellow by both the AIA (US) and the RSA (UK).

Teaching

In addition to his academic work with Georgia Tech, Braley has been invited to lecture/critique at nine other universities in the United States.
